Delaware Permit Practice Test

Show Description

From the 2016 Delaware driver handbook

Directions: Delaware drivers must have good eyesight, which you will prove by passing a vision test, and a strong knowledge of Delaware’s traffic laws, which you will demonstrate by passing the Delaware Permit Test. The permit test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions, which will be based on information in the Delaware Driver’s Manual. You can take the knowledge test at a local DMV office. If you are under 18, a sponsor (parent or legal guardian) should accompany you, as he or she will need to sign your application. On test day, you are not allowed to use your Driver’s Manual or any other electronic device.

If you fail the Delaware permit test, you can retake the test after a ten-day waiting period has passed.
