Show Description

From the 2016 Vermont driver handbook

Directions: In Vermont, the minimum age requirement to be eligible to take the permit test is 15. If you under 18, a parent or legal guardian may need to accompany you on the day of your test as he or she will need to sign your application. The permit test has 20 questions, each a multiple-choice question with four possible answer choices. You need to answer correctly at least 16 of those 20 questions to pass. Study the Vermont Driver Handbook to best prepare for the permit test. The practice tests here will also help prepare you and give you an idea of the questions you will encounter on Vermont’s actual permit test.
